How we make money.

The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a product, the vendor may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same. If a product is not a good fit, we will say so even when it has a generous affiliate program.

Programs we participate in

We currently participate in affiliate programs for VPN, privacy, and business software products, including NordVPN, Proton VPN, ActiveCampaign, Close, CloudTalk, Optery, and other tools reviewed on this site. This list changes as programs are added or discontinued.

How we keep recommendations independent

• Rankings are based on testing criteria published on our How We Test page.
• Commission rates do not influence scores, ordering, or verdicts.
• We disclose commercial links in the page copy and mark them with rel="sponsored".
• We do not accept payment for positive reviews or paid placements.

Tracking

Affiliate links may set a cookie from the vendor so that a purchase can be attributed to this site. Those cookies are controlled by the vendor and are subject to its privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.
